ABOUT US
Deerfield Construction Company, Inc. is a trusted name in contracting. The company
began as Maury Daniel Construction in 1974. In 1981 the company incorporated in
the state of Ohio as Deerfield Construction Company. The company has remained under
the ownership and direction of the Bitzer family since it’s inception.
The company is licensed to do business in all states east of the Mississippi as
well as in several western states. Our concentration on “core” clients and their
concepts has allowed us to build an extensive database of knowledgeable subcontractors
throughout the country; our cost proposals are based on historical experience in
addition to the proposals submitted by subcontractors.
Deerfield is a mid-size company, which allows us to provide tailored construction
management services to meet our clients individualized needs. We believe in team
involvement beginning with assigning a Project Manager and Vice President to the
project during a pre-bid review. Both work with the Estimator throughout the bid
process. Once a project is secured, an in-house, pre-construction meeting is held
to review the project with the Vice President, Project Manager, Superintendent,
Accounting personnel and Project Coordinator.
Deerfield Construction has extensive experience with restaurant, retail, petroleum
and specialty construction. Our specialty projects have included funeral homes,
clubhouses and churches among others.
